Happy New Year! On January 1st, 2011 I marched with the Landi Comic Club in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade. I've been marching in the parade for over 10 years and I love it! In the comic division they judge three categories-originality, best theme, and costume.I was in the Original Costume category and placed 5th which gave my club 160 points towards placing in the parade. We have a very small club and usually come in 3rd out of three clubs, but this year we actually came in second! YAY!!!! Congratulations to Landi and Steve Melnychunk the President of the Landi Comic Club. My costume was the Dancing Old Hag and was a Stalkaround costume that I made with a pvc frame. I used a oversized troll mask that I took the beard off and added warts and a couple of teeth. I also used a black witch dress/robe and added material to complete the costume.

My first haunt!
On October 31st, 2010 I had my first haunted walk through that had over 250 people go through it. I was able to get 8 foot fence panels through Craigslist and 6 foot cornstalks to complete the walls. I had a total of six actors that helped volunteer.Overall it was a big success and I want to make it bigger and better from this point forward.
